The Ministry of Justice: The new civil code will become the legal basis of the future economy in Kazakhstan. As part of the implementation of the address of the head of state, the development of a new civil code has begun as a legal basis for the future economy, which guarantees the protection of the interests of citizens, entrepreneurs and investors. This is what Minister of Justice Yerlan Sarasambiev said at the cabinet meeting. The importance of this work will increase especially in the context of the implementation of the new constitution based on human rights and interests, equal protection of property and legal guarantees of citizens, including in the digital environment. "It is recommended to maintain the institutions of private law, which have proven their effectiveness, and at the same time improve clear and comprehensive rules, while ensuring the protection of their rights and the distribution of risks to participants in new economic relations. The new constitution guarantees equal protection for all forms of property. In order to develop this principle, it is recommended to strengthen the guarantees of property owners, protect the rights of bona fide purchasers and strengthen the reliability of contractual obligations. This makes it possible to guarantee the protection of citizens' property and create predictable conditions for entrepreneurship and investments." said the minister. The development of the new code should be based on a comprehensive analysis of the existing legislation, judicial practice and new constitutional provisions. We recommend that this work be carried out in cooperation with the corps of deputies, the scientific community, experienced lawyers, business representatives and experts.
