Specific social support mechanisms will be improved in Kazakhstan as part of the implementation of the head of state's mission, extensive work is being done in Kazakhstan to update the social policy and improve the state's support mechanisms. Now, taking into account the real needs of the citizens, emphasis is placed on an objective assessment of the economic situation of the families in order to provide state aid. In this context, the methodology for determining the social welfare of the family was formulated, which involves changing the ways of assessing the income, assets and liabilities of households. As noted by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the People Askarbek Artayev, certain evaluation criteria were revised during the improvement of the methodology. "In particular, the methods of assessing income and credit obligations, including mortgage loans, have been changed. The presence and condition of cars and agricultural machinery was taken into account. At the same time, we have completely excluded from the account agricultural machinery that has been outside the factory for more than 20 years. The existence of a private enterprise and a legal entity is not taken into account. Also, we cannot take into account the existence of small plots of land and private secondary farms," the speaker noted. In addition, it is designed to take into account family alimony expenses, credit obligations as well as circumstances related to having a single breadwinner and a single residential apartment. At the same time, 30 information systems of state bodies will be inspected, and the financial situation of the benefit recipients will be checked together with regional akims. These measures are intended to increase the accuracy of the assessment of the well-being of citizens and to ensure the specificity of state support.
