Iran will no longer rely on American paper commitments: a Tehran security official, IRNA -. The deputy secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNC) emphasized that the US has consistently violated commitments over the past year and a half, and stressed that Iran has the right not to rely on the American paper commitments before entering a new phase of diplomacy. "Iran needs to see the practical actions of the US, and then the content of the basis for opening a new chapter," stressed Ali Bagri.
Regarding the message of the leader of the Islamic Revolution delivered yesterday to Russian President Vladimir Putin by the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Razai, Bagri noted that the message outlines the two elements that Iran is considering for bilateral cooperation and the outlook for these cooperations and interactions. This was intended to clarify to the Russians the issue of cooperation with Iran during the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Mujtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
He also described the Russian gas transfer projects to Iran and the North-South Corridor as strategic plans that would thwart US imaginations aimed at putting pressure on Iran.
