Americans want an end to wars, focus on their issues: Lt. Pazeshkian Rasht, IRNA -. Mohammed Jafar Gampana, the vice president for executive affairs, says that the results of the US elections reflected the voters' demand to stop the wars and threats and to pay more attention to domestic issues and the people's livelihood. Speaking at a meeting of investors and economic activists in northern Iran's Gilan province on Thursday, Gampana said the message from US voters echoed Iran's long-standing call for Washington to stop threatening other countries and focus on its own people.
The official added that voters who previously supported the Republicans turned away from them because they wanted the wars to end, the cost of living to be addressed, America to stand first and for Washington to reconsider its ties with Israel.
Jampana also praised Iranian entrepreneurs and producers, saying their efforts have helped the country maintain economic resilience despite decades of US sanctions and restrictions.
