General Jani: The US is facing a united front in Hormuz, Bab al-Mandab Tehran, IRNA -. The IRGC's Quds Force commander, Brigadier General Esmail Jani, said on Wednesday that the resistance forces have formed a united front against the attackers, namely the United States and Israel in the region. In an interview with the Sepahnews website published on Wednesday, Brigadier General Jani warned the United States against miscalculating the capabilities of the resistance front, stressing that its strategic depth extends beyond its weapons range.
Jani said the entire resistance front is now one front with unity across different arenas.
"These irresponsible American leaders should know that today the entire resistance is one front with unity across different arenas. Therefore, the depth of the front should not be calculated based on the range of the weapon alone; You must also take into account the depth of the resistance," he said.
"Otherwise, you will end up fighting a war with weapons in the Strait of Hormuz while dealing with the opening of Bab al-Mandab through the resistance," Ahani added.
Referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's role in triggering the US war against Iran and its consequences on the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab, the commander of the Quds Force said that US President Donald Trump bet on war with Iran after being misled by Netanyahu.
He said the result was the loss of America's reputation for 250 years and its defeat in the Strait of Hormuz.
Jani added that Washington's insistence on its position in Hormuz caused the "Smart Resistance Front" to impose the loss of the Bab al-Mandab strait on the United States as well.
