There is still no breakthrough in the consultation with the Qatari mediator on the Hormuz plan: Argachi Tehran, IRNA -. Foreign Minister Abbas Argachi, referring to the talks between an Iranian delegation and the Qatari mediators in Doha, says that although the consultations regarding a "two-day plan" to open the Strait of Hormuz are ongoing, a final result has not yet been reached. Speaking on the sidelines of the session of the Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Argachi reiterated that the positive outcome of the consultations in Doha depends on how the American side responds to Iran's questions.

He also stated that the visit of the Iranian delegation, including one of his aides, to Doha was intended to continue discussions with the mediators on the proposed reopening of Hormuz, while clarifying that there is no plan to meet or negotiate with the American side during this trip.

Stating that Tehran is making every effort to resolve issues diplomatically and peacefully, the senior Iranian diplomat expressed hope that the other side will exercise rationality and choose diplomacy over other ways, referring to repeated US threats.

Argachi, once again emphasized that Iran is ready for all scenarios, and said that the latest instructions issued by the Supreme Commander, Ayatollah Seyed Mujtaba Hosseini Khamenei, to senior military commanders, for a quick and intense response to an enemy without geographical borders, clearly demonstrate the determination of Iran and the Iranian nation.

The Iranian armed forces have been assigned very specific tasks, and based on lessons learned from two previous wars, they are now stronger than before, the foreign minister said, stressing that Iran remains ready for defense and diplomacy at the same time.
