Tasnim news agency reporter released after 450 days in Israeli detention Tehran, IRNA - Farah Abu Ayash, a reporter for the "Tasnim" news agency in the West Bank, returned to her family on Thursday night after spending 450 days in Israeli prisons. The Judicial Court of Ofer Prison ruled in favor of Abu Ayyash's release, and acquitted her of all baseless charges after serving 15 months of administrative detention.

She was arrested on August 6, 2025, during a night attack by Zionist soldiers on her home in Beit Omer, north of Al-Khalil, only on the charge of covering news and developments in the southern West Bank for the "Tasnim" news agency. She was tortured.

The legal proceedings in the case of this Palestinian reporter have been repeatedly postponed due to the blockade of the Israeli regimes. As a result, Farah was held in administrative detention at the regime's notorious Damon prison.
