Due to snowfall, Irkutsk's road services were switched to 24-hour operation. Special equipment continuously sweeps the road, treats the road surface with anti-icing materials, and at night removes snow from rolling onto the asphalt. Priority is given to intersections, pedestrian crossings and difficult ascents and descents. Drivers are asked not to park their vehicles along the road so as not to interfere with the work of the harvesting equipment.
