Zyuganov proposed to withdraw the deposits of the Russians and replenish the federal budget with them. Speaking about ways to cover the budget deficit on the Rossiya TV channel, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that citizens' deposits can be used, putting them on the same scale as the money owned by oligarchs and big businesses. Zyuganov suggested using 130 trillion rubles, which Russians and organizations keep in banks, to replenish the federal budget. According to him, these funds are equivalent to three annual state budgets, but he did not explain the state's access mechanism to depositors' funds. Zyuganov also called for an increase in taxes on billionaires, whose combined wealth is estimated at $700 billion. At the same time, the communist is sure that the Russians will support these ideas, since the funds will be used to support the economy and industry.
