In the Irkutsk region, new leaders were appointed in three power units at once. The head of the drug control department of the main regional directorate of the Ministry of the Interior was police lieutenant colonel Edward Tsarkov. He has served in the interior bodies for over 30 years, and for the last ten years he served as deputy head of this department. Valery Kozlov became the transport prosecutor in East Siberia, and Mikhail Shishkadov headed the Baikal environmental prosecutor's office. Both have more than 20 years of experience in the prosecution.
