Gadi Eisenkot, the agent of Israel's government assembly, announced on Sunday November 17th at the presidential residence in the country that the war fronts are still open and the goals of the war have not yet been achieved. Emphasizing the urgency of the challenges facing Israel, he said that this country has no chance of wasting time or holding consecutive elections and that a national emergency government must be established as soon as possible.
Eisenkot, who received the task of forming the government from the President of Israel, Yitzhak Herzog, said that he will try to form a national emergency government and will soon invite all the current parties in the Knesset to participate in this process.
Referring to Israel's security and political conditions, he emphasized that the current challenges are too urgent to waste time and the formation of the new government should be done as soon as possible.
Eisenkot also mentioned the recognition of Hamas as a "terrorist" organization and the commitment to destroy the ruling power of this group as additional conditions for the parties to join the future government.
