Alireza Namur HaGigi, a political analyst, said that Gadi Eisenkot, despite the parliamentary support for the formation of the Israeli government, faces serious differences of opinion among his allies, especially regarding the cooperation with Arab parties. According to him, the joint opposition of these parties to the continuation of Benjamin Netanyahu's prime ministership can help in forming the government, but does not guarantee its stability.
Nemor Hagai added that the main difference between Eisenkot and Netanyahu is in the approach to the Islamic Republic. According to him, Eisenkot sees the need to deal with Tehran's nuclear and missile threats, but he does not see regime change in Iran as Israel's duty. He also considered it unlikely that the election complaints of the Likud party could change the overall result of the election.
