Mehdi Mahdawi-Azad said in the "Point of View" program that Russia has always tried to keep the Islamic Republic in a country that is not so strong that it does not need Moscow and also weak that it falls. According to him, Vladimir Putin has so far used the Iran war to secure Russia's interests, especially in the case of Ukraine and the energy sector. Mehdawi-Azad, referring to reports related to missile cooperation between Tehran and Moscow, raised the possibility of changing Russia's role in the war. He raised the question of whether Moscow might intervene this time in the Islamic Republic's conflict with America and Israel by extending military aid.
