Najat Bahrami, a political analyst, said the large presence of Iranians at the Frankfurt rally shows that the protest movement against the Islamic Republic no longer depends on temporary events and that support for the leadership of Prince Reza Pahlavi continues. According to him, such gatherings can influence the decision of hesitant Western politicians and strengthen the voice of the protesters inside Iran. Bahrami added that in order to turn this social support into an effective political action, the cooperation of different currents is necessary. He emphasized that despite the broad ability to unite political groups around democratic principles, additional steps are still required to build trust and expand cooperation.
