Jamshid Barzgar, a journalist and political analyst, said that the defeat of the Republicans in the elections for the US Congress increased the pressure on Donald Trump and may push him towards an immediate agreement with the Islamic Republic or military action. Pointing to the increase in Tehran's diplomatic movements, Mohsen Razai's trip to Moscow and the mediation of regional countries, Barzgar added that Trump still left both the options of negotiation and military attack open. According to him, if diplomatic efforts do not yield results quickly, the possibility of American military action will increase.
