Three Ryanair planes traveling to Bulgaria from Madrid, Copenhagen and Stansted Airport in London were the targets of bomb threats. Two planes landed in Sofia, but the flight originating in London diverted to Plovdiv airport, east of the capital. According to a spokesman for Bulgaria's Ministry of Transport, since the beginning of the week over 20 cases of fake threats have been reported, at least seven of which were aimed at Ryanair.
