On Wednesday, November 4, the US State Department sanctioned two individuals and a company for their role in attempting to provide missile defense systems to the Islamic Republic. The ministry announced that Mohammad Ali Talebov, CEO of Belarus-based Berit Neskh, was involved in mediating between Chinese and Iranian companies for the purchase of hundreds of launcher systems. Vanguard Tactical Supply in Nigeria was also sanctioned for introducing fake end users to purchase these weapons, and Russia's Alishir Dumolodzhanov for trying to facilitate their purchase. The US State Department announced the purpose of this action to prevent the restoration of the Islamic Republic's arsenal and the implementation of the UN arms embargo. Based on these sanctions, assets in the United States are blocked and related transactions are prohibited. A few hours ago, Washington targeted four Indian nationals and nine Indian companies for providing forged documents to the Islamic Republic's shadow fleet and a Turkish company for providing services to sanctioned Iranian airlines.
