The Spanish Football Federation has suspended all matches under its supervision until November 6, following the death of Jesus de Miguel, the 30-year-old striker of Tenerife. This decision was made to pay respect to the late player and express sympathy with his family and the Tenerife club. In this way, the Spanish men's and women's elimination cup matches, which were supposed to be held this week, were postponed. The Spanish Football Federation announced in this context: "Following the death of Jesus de Miguel, to pay our respects and show solidarity, we have extended the suspension of matches under our supervision until November 6."
