Kamiar Beharang, a member of the Iran International editorial team, referring to a report by Israel's Channel 12 about the presence of approximately 1,700 ballistic missiles of the Islamic Republic with the ability to reach Israel, said that this figure shows the missile stockpile and does not in itself show the ability to launch at a moment's notice. He said the loss of some of the missile sites and launch systems reduced the Islamic Republic's ability to fire simultaneously in the last days of previous wars. Behrang also said that the threat of Arab countries will lead them to cooperate more in defense with the US and Israel, and the Islamic Republic's threat of a preemptive attack could give the United States and Israel the upper hand to act against the Islamic Republic.
