US President Donald Trump said in his campaign speech in Iowa that the reason the war with the Islamic Republic has not ended is because of his efforts to prevent more people from being killed. He added: "The only reason we haven't finished with Iran yet is that I want to be tolerant." I want to save the lives of all these people if I can." Trump then warned: "But at some point we will have to hit them hard." Referring to the "Midnight Hammer" and "Epic Fury" operations, Trump claimed that America destroyed the Islamic Republic's nuclear enrichment capability and defeated the Iranian government militarily and economically. He also again defended the withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA and called the Barack Obama-era nuclear deal "a path for Iran to obtain nuclear weapons."
