The Telegram channel "Tehran-Student" reported that Shahin Shekohi, a doctoral student in sociology of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Tehran University, committed self-immolation on Sunday, November 1, in front of the steel building of this university.
According to this report, Shokohi was summoned many times to the university's disciplinary committee before this action and has been under security pressure from institutions outside the university for a long time.
The "Tehran-Student" channel announced that this student was taken to a medical center after committing self-immolation, but so far no information has been published about his health condition. According to this channel, officials at the University of Tehran have also been silent about this incident.
This channel also wrote that despite his poor physical condition, Shokohi is still under investigation and security pressure and there is a possibility of his arrest.
According to published information, Shaheen Shukohi was arrested earlier on December 30, 1404.
