In a radio program, the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran's army, Mohammad Akarmini, said: "We are fully prepared to respond to America outside of West Asia as well, and it is up to us to determine the end time of a possible future war." The military spokesman warned on Sunday, November 1: "Any renewed American aggression will be met with an immediate, overwhelming and extensive response than before." Acramini added: "In the event of starting a new adventure, American facilities, equipment, forces and interests can be targeted for response wherever they are available." He emphasized: "The enemy should not think that the scope of the reaction of the Islamic Republic of Iran will necessarily be limited to the geographical scope of past conflicts." The spokesman of the Islamic Republic's army also said: "The possible future war could be many times longer than the previous war, and the President of the United States will not be able to determine the date and conditions of its end." At the end, Akramenia added: "The American people and this country's European allies should also know that the initiative of the Islamic Republic will play a key role in determining the fate of such a conflict."
