Said Mehrazadi, Director General of the Inspection Office of the Food and Drug Organization, announced the discovery of a case of drug fraud worth 150 million Tomans, in which the original drug content was replaced with distilled water. According to him, the investigations show that the vial belongs to another drug, which after emptying was filled with distilled water and sold as the main drug by installing the label of the drug in question. Maharazadi added that the price of this drug in the official network is about 90 million tomans, but it is sold on the free market for between 500 and 600 million tomans. He warned against buying drugs from the virtual space and the informal market and emphasized that the appearance of the drug is not a sign of its authenticity and that receiving drugs from unauthorized sources could endanger the health of patients.
