Jamshid Barzgar, a journalist and political analyst, said that the statements of the representatives of the parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the imams on Friday about obtaining nuclear weapons, instead of expressing the official decision of the government, are part of a propaganda campaign to increase the pressure on America and the Western countries. According to him, with the increasing role of Mohsen Razai in security decisions, these threats increased. Berzger warned that the withdrawal of the Islamic Republic from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) could make it difficult for countries such as Russia and China to support Tehran. He added that such an action would increase the possibility of creating an international consensus to prevent the Islamic Republic from obtaining nuclear weapons and the risk of military attacks.
