Alireza Nourizadeh, director of the Iran and Arab Research Center, said that the Persian Gulf countries are looking for international guarantees to ensure their security on the eve of a possible new conflict with the Islamic Republic. According to him, the focus of the Manama security meeting shows that the fear of threats from the Islamic Republic has become one of the most important security priorities in the region. Nourizadeh added that there is a possibility of military participation by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in the event of large-scale attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran. He also said that the countries of the region are concerned about the repetition of missile and UAV attacks by the Islamic Republic and want to make sure that the possible operation will fundamentally eliminate Tehran's threats.
