The final results of the Israeli elections show that Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc with 53 seats and the four main opposition parties with 48 seats, none of them reached the majority needed to form a government. On the other hand, the Arab parties almost doubled their share compared to the previous elections by winning 19 seats. The joint list won 11 mandates and Raam won 8 mandates. The support of these two lists may increase the total number of mandates of Netanyahu's opponents to 67. But the lack of agreement on cooperation with the Arab parties made the establishment of such a coalition a challenge and made the role of these parties more prominent in determining the future government.
