Jamshid Barzgar, a journalist and political analyst, said that Qatar's new proposal with the support of several countries in the region includes the return of the Islamic Republic to cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, the resumption of nuclear tests, and in return, the provision of limited sales of oil and the release of some of Iran's blocked assets. According to him, Tehran's opposition to these proposals increased the possibility of repeated attacks by the US and Israel. Berzgar added that the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran are not ready to give up their levers of pressure thinking that they can go through military attacks without the fall of the government. According to him, the policy of the Islamic Republic in the Strait of Hormuz has led to the opposite result and has put the government into a strategic impasse from which it will become increasingly difficult to get out.
