Muhammad Reza Aref, the first deputy of Masoud Mazikian, criticized the lack of legal preparation to deal with the issues of the digital space and warned that the continuation of the current process in this area could lead to a crisis.
Aref said: "We are in no way prepared to deal with the legal issues of the digital space, and sometimes judgments are forcefully given to the digital space based on the real space, which has no justification."
He warned against the consequences of the continuation of this situation and added: "If this process continues, we may face a crisis in this area."
Masoud Mazikian's First Vice President also ordered the establishment of a permanent working group under the responsibility of the Legal Vice President and in the presence of the Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the Ministry of Communications and Information, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and representatives of the private sector.
According to this order, the aforementioned working group is obliged to examine and gradually develop the laws related to the digital space.
