The Israel Home newspaper reported on Wednesday, November 6, citing a senior diplomatic source, that the efforts of the US and Israel in relation to Iran, including the possibility of renewing military strikes, will continue regardless of the process of forming the new Israeli government, and the results of the elections in this country will not affect the military and intelligence cooperation of the two sides.
This senior diplomatic official told Israel today that the military, intelligence and diplomatic cooperation between Washington and Jerusalem at all levels is still close and strong, and the decision on the next steps will be made solely based on the common interests of the US and Israel.
He emphasized that if it is found necessary to attack Iran again, the decision to do so will only be made based on expert considerations, and the process of forming the new Israeli government will not affect this decision.
This official also said that the results of the mid-term elections in the US will not change the strategic calculations of Washington and Israel towards Iran.
