The monthly inflation was 4.4% and the point-to-point inflation was 88.7%; That is, households in the country had to spend 88.7% more on average than in October 1404 to buy the same set of goods and services. According to this report, the annual inflation rate for rural households was 92.3% and for urban households was 74.1%. Also, education with monthly inflation of 23.5%, transportation with 10.7% and entertainment and culture with 9.8% recorded the highest monthly inflation rates. Among the goods and services groups, spot inflation for tobacco reached 163.2 percent, furniture and household electrical products reached 128.9 percent, and transportation reached 128 percent.
