The Harana website reported that Artin Ghazanfari, a Baha'i citizen and journalist imprisoned in Greater Tehran Prison, was sentenced to 26 years in prison according to the verdict of Abolkasem Salvati, head of Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court. According to this report, Jazanfari's sentence was handed down on November 5 and includes 20 years in prison for "media action", five years for "gathering and conspiracy" and one year for "propaganda against the regime". An informed source close to Jazanfari's family said that although the sentence for the first charge was 10 years in prison, the judge in the case handed down a sentence of 20 years in prison, citing the law that aggravates the punishment of espionage. Harana also reported that Jazanfari's physical condition is not good and wrote that although he suffered from heart failure, hypertension and asthma and the prison health doctors insisted on the need to transfer him to medical centers outside the prison, he was denied special medical services due to the objection of the case judge. Ghazanfari was arrested on January 19, 1404 at his personal home in Tehran, and after searching his place of residence and work, the agents seized a number of electronic devices, books and work and personal equipment.
