The elections in Israel are of particular importance to Donald Trump, the president of the United States. He, who widely supported Binyamin Netanyahu, opened a special account for the Prime Minister of Israel in order to promote his policy in the Middle East and confront the Islamic Republic. While exit polls show mixed results, the increase in participation by Israeli Arab citizens also became one of the surprises of the election. At the same time, the impact of Trump's support for Netanyahu and the possible consequences of the outcome of these elections on the internal politics of the United States, including the mid-term congressional elections, were considered.
