According to the report of the Fars Teachers' Union, Mahnz Ebrahimi, a math teacher and activist in the Teachers' Union in Shiraz, was arrested on Tuesday, November 5 after security forces entered his home and was taken to Adel Abad prison in that city.

This council also emphasized that the right to the independent activity of the professional unions and the demands of the teachers should be recognized and should not be a substitute security measure for meeting the demands of the professional unions of educators.
