Meir Javadenfar, an analyst of Israeli issues, said that Naftali Bennett followed the policy of direct confrontation with the Islamic Republic by proposing the "octopus doctrine" instead of focusing only on its proxy forces. According to him, Bennett also succeeded in maintaining Israel's relations with America and Europe and preventing the expansion of internal divisions. Criticizing Benjamin Netanyahu's policies, Javadanfer said that his actions towards the Israeli justice system have caused deep social divisions. He added that in order to effectively deal with the Islamic Republic, Israel needs, in addition to military strength, national cohesion, a strong economy and greater participation of ultra-Orthodox citizens in the army, and he believes Bennett will act according to these priorities.
