US President Donald Trump has said that the rise in fuel prices following the war with the Islamic Republic is an acceptable price to pay to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons. He also said that the US had achieved a major victory and that more oil was now passing through the Strait of Hormuz. In another part of his speech, Trump attacked US Senate candidate Al-Sayed and questioned his qualifications. He also said the Islamic Republic had killed more than 75,000 protesters in the past nine months, a number he provided no independent evidence to support.
