Houshang Hassaniari, an expert on military affairs, said that Saudi Arabia is superior to the Houthis in terms of conventional military power, but despite having a strong air force and the support of foreign countries, it has not yet been able to stop the Houthis' missile and UAV attacks. Hassaniari considered Saudi Arabia's defense agreement with Pakistan and Turkey to have no serious military impact and added that the defense support of Western countries, including the deployment of British fighter jets, is mostly limited to intercepting attacks. According to him, without effective military action against the Houthis, the threat of this group against Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea and the energy market will continue.
