For fear of a ground attack by Iran or its allies, information has reported that military movements have begun since 3/11/2026, represented by the transfer and reinforcement of forces from the 101st, 102nd and 103rd brigades of the 25th division, in addition to forces from the Basra operations command, towards the border areas of Shlamach, Siva, Shat al-Arab and Savannab. On 11/6/2026, the 36th Brigade (Mechanized Infantry) of the Ninth Division was assigned and transferred in an official capacity to those areas.
