With the intensification of the rain system in Iran, from Friday November 6th and the morning of Saturday November 7th, large areas of the country witnessed rain and snow and a drop in temperature.
The published images show the rains in Tehran, Karaj, Isfahan and Ilam, as well as the whiteness of high areas, including the heights of Shamshak and Damavand. The snowfall in Shamsk started on Saturday morning and the rain in Tehran also helped to improve the air quality.
The meteorological organization announced that the activity of the rainfall system will increase on Saturday in the western and northwestern regions, on the slopes of Zagros and Alborz and the shores of the Caspian Sea. Rain and thunder are expected in Tehran, Alborz, Ilam and western Isfaia. In the high areas and in the cold areas there may be precipitation in the form of snow.
At the same time, a red alert was issued for the districts of Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari, Kohliwa and Buar Ahmed and parts of the provinces of Lorestan and Kurdistan. The meteorological organization warned of the possibility of flash floods, overflowing rivers and floods and asked people to avoid stopping and moving on river banks and climbing to heights.
