Mohammad Javad Larijani, head of the Basic Knowledge Research Institute and Ali Larijani's brother, referring to the Islamic Republic's nuclear power, said that building nuclear weapons for Iran is "like drinking water" and described the Islamic Republic's nuclear knowledge beyond that stage.
Larijani said: "If Vali Amer allows, we will prepare a large amount for him; if he does not allow it, we are subject to the order." He added that the enemies of the Islamic Republic should know that, according to him, building such a weapon is "like drinking water" for Iran.
Earlier, in response to US President Donald Trump's statements about Iran's ability to build advanced weapons and opposition to the Islamic Republic of Iran's acquisition of nuclear weapons, he said that Iran does not need American approval to build weapons. Larijani also described the creation of the atomic bomb as a "toy" for the Islamic Republic.
