A video posted on social media shows dozens of people in Indonesia working together to carry a wooden house on their shoulders and move it to another location without removing its roof and walls. According to Indonesian media Press, this method of moving the house, known as "soccer market" or "ball map", is one of the old traditions of the Bugis people in the Baru district, located in the South Sulawesi province of Indonesia. In this ceremony, the residents work together to lift wooden houses built on stilts and move them to a new location. This tradition was created due to the prevalence of checkered wooden houses among the Bugis. These houses are mostly rectangular and wooden columns form the main support of the structure. One of the characteristics of these houses is the use of wooden joints instead of nails in their construction, which makes it easier to move the structure. This tradition is also a symbol of cooperation and solidarity between the local residents.
