Ali Akbar and Ayati: Any energy corridor or transition that would bypass Iran would be expensive or unstable. Ali Akbar Velayati, an adviser to the former leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, warned on Friday, November 6, in a message on Channel X, emphasizing Iran's geographic location, that any transit route for goods or energy that would bypass Iran would be "expensive or unstable." In this message, Vlayati wrote: "Now, when everyone is talking about the new order in West Asia, it should be noted that Iran is a bridge between the Persian Gulf, Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Sea of Oman. Any energy corridor or transition that wants to bypass us; Either it will be expensive or it will be unstable. These statements follow Valiati's recent position regarding the "Trump's way" agreement in the South Caucasus. On Thursday, November 5, in response to the approval of this agreement in the Armenian Parliament and the beginning of its implementation, he accused the government of Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, of following the West and threatened America and its allies. Referring to his conversation with the Armenian ambassador, Vlayati said in a note in the newspaper: "If Trump and his allies want to cross this Iranian red line, we will break their legs." The "Trump Corridor" agreement aims to create a transit corridor in southern Armenia, facilitating the connection between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan region. Tehran fears that the implementation of this plan will lead to the reduction of Iran's role in the communications and transit routes of the South Caucasus.
