Donald Trump, the president of the United States, said that the Islamic Republic cannot take any action related to its nuclear program without Washington's consent, and emphasized that Tehran will not obtain nuclear weapons. On Thursday, in the Oval Office of the White House, Trump said in response to reporters' questions about reports that the Islamic Republic is considering a new proposal for an agreement with the United States aimed at limiting Iran's nuclear program: "They won't do anything without our agreement." It doesn't matter what they check. "They will not have nuclear weapons." Referring to Washington's possible decision regarding Iran, he said that the United States must now decide whether to take additional steps to ensure that the acquisition of nuclear weapons does not happen again. Trump added that he would prefer not to destroy the rest of Iran if possible, but he may have to. "You'll soon find out," he said.
