American Secretary of War Pete Heggest, on Thursday, November 5, in a video posted on X, emphasized that the Donald Trump administration is determined to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
"When we say Iran will not have a nuclear weapon, we really mean it," Hegset said. "Under the leadership of President Trump, we will take the tough steps necessary to ensure this."
He continued: "Because no matter how people feel about the war, I believe that this war is a brave and historic act that will ensure that Iran never gets a nuclear weapon."
Earlier, US President Donald Trump dismissed speculation about the firing of Secretary of War Pete Gast and said he was satisfied with his performance. Trump also said Hoggest could be very popular if he enters the Senate.
