The videos and photos posted on social media and Iran's local media on Sunday show the sudden and rapid influx of a huge mass of dust and a severe sandstorm into Haftakal city in Khuzestan province.
In these pictures you can see a large wall of dust that covers the entire area in a few minutes.
According to the Student News Agency, the Khuzestan Meteorological Department warned of atmospheric instability in the province. Mohammad Sabzari, Director General of Khuzestan Meteorology, announced on Sunday, November 1 that until late Monday, there is a possibility of showers, thunderstorms, strong winds, gusts and localized dust in some parts of the province. Khuzestan Meteorology issued an orange level warning earlier.
