Ahmed Nafisi, political, security and social deputy of the governor of Hormozgan, announced on Saturday, October 31, the attack on 2 fishing boats in the waters of Kashem Island. According to the Fars news agency, American forces attacked these two vessels. According to Nafisi, this incident happened around 11:30 in the morning at a distance of about 33 kilometers from the village of Masan in the city of Kesham. Each of the 2 boats had 2 passengers and a total of 4 fishermen were present in these boats. The deputy governor of Hormuzgan announced that after this incident the father and son of a fisherman disappeared at sea and 2 passengers were taken to Kesham. One of the two fishermen was also taken to the hospital due to injuries. Later, the CEO of the Keshem fishing community announced the finding of 2 missing fishermen and said that the father and son are safe on their way back to Keshem Island. The Fars news agency announced their names as Mohammad Panjah and Mahmoud Panjah.
