Despite the ban on Halloween celebrations by the authorities of the Islamic Republic, the photos published on social media show that a number of people celebrated this event on the night of Thursday, October 29, in Tehran and several other cities in Iran by wearing special clothes, face makeup and decorating cars.

In one of the videos released from Tehran, a car with large and different decorations related to Halloween can be seen moving through the streets of the capital. Additional photos of people wearing special Halloween costumes and make-up were posted in Tehran, Shiraz, Mashhad and Bushehr.

Halloween is held every year on the night of October 31st, but some fans in Iran started their celebrations this year on Thursday night, October 29th, equivalent to October 29th.

These photos were published while Iran's Chamber of Guilds banned any events and gatherings related to Halloween in guilds and announced that cafes, restaurants and other guilds are not allowed to advertise or sell items related to this event.
