US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, at the G20 meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, warned against the economic and geopolitical crises in the world and said that the countries should expand their cooperation to deal with common threats and take practical steps to strengthen global stability. In his speech, Rubio noted that the world is at a "critical moment" and said: "I call this moment the time of choice; "not only for my country, the United States of America, but for the entire world." The US Secretary of State emphasized that the world is facing a series of interrelated economic and geopolitical crises, many of which pose a serious threat to the fundamental foundations of the global economic order. Referring to disruptions in the supply of energy and food, in the global supply chain, trade and freedom of navigation, he said that the member states of the G20 must cooperate to deal with these threats, strengthen economic resilience and protect global markets and economies. Rubio also said that the challenges facing Donald Trump's administration are multi-faceted and interconnected, and their solutions must be designed according to these complexities. Emphasizing the role of diplomats and political leaders in coordinating responses to emerging crises, he added: "By turning our common interests into practical cooperation and real actions, we can strengthen global stability and, more importantly, bring tangible and valuable achievements to our citizens."
