Two male cheetahs from the offspring of a female cheetah named "Khorshid", after 19 months of not being heard from, were seen again in camera trap images on the border between Samnan and North Khorasan provinces.

The ISNA news agency reported on Thursday, November 7, citing the public relations of the General Department of Environmental Protection of Samnan Province, that "Khorshid" gave birth to four cubs in 1402, two of which died, but the other two cubs grew up in the wild, reached maturity and became independent.

"Takahab", also known as "Khorshid", is one of the well-known cheetahs of Turan, whose previous births were also recorded in camera traps.

Turan National Park in Samnan Province is one of the important remaining habitats of Asiatic Cheetahs in Iran.
