According to Israel's Channel 13, the military prosecutor's office in the country issued on Thursday, November 7, an indictment against an army soldier who was arrested in September on suspicion of serious security crimes, including contact with intelligence agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This soldier was arrested following a joint operation by the Shin Bet, police, military police and intelligence protection of the army and he is accused of passing information to the enemy and communicating with a foreign agent. According to the investigation, this person, who knew the identity of the Iranian agent, passed on sensitive information about his unit's activities, the state of readiness and his personal contact information at the beginning of the "Shiran Roar" operation for about a year, and received money in exchange for it through cryptocurrency wallets. Transferring the coordinates of military bases, photographing American equipment and refueling planes at Ben-Gurion Airport, providing information on commanders and members for possible recruitment and providing a special telegram group for Israeli servicemen to the Iranian agent were among his other actions.
