A deadly and sudden tornado in Antalya claimed the lives of four construction workers in the "Pozi Cakmak" neighborhood and injured another person. According to Turkish media reports, this tornado occurred when the meteorological organization issued a yellow rain warning for this area. The strong wind blew away the two "prefab rooms" where the workers were placed, and its five occupants were thrown around, two of them died on the spot and two others died in the hospital. Hulusi Shahin, the governor of Antalya, who was present at the scene of the accident, described the incident as a "strange and very localized weather phenomenon" and said that there were no other reports of tornadoes or damage to nearby buildings, and the damage was limited to the area of this workshop and the overturning of a crane with no other casualties.
